Ubisoft announced a handful of delays this morning, but the main one that will affect Nintendo fans seems to be the delay of Red Steel 2. The game is now planned for release in the "March quarter" of 2010 (anytime before March 31st, 2010). Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained that the development team working on the game asked for more time in order to polish all of the game maps.

Speaking about the delays; Guillemot had the following to say:

"We are disappointed that we have to postpone the release of several major games but we consider that this choice is the best one in the long-term interests of Ubisoft. Lastly, we are having to adjust our full-year targets to take into account the fall in business over the first half. The excellent response to our games at E3, as well as the high buzz generated for titles such as Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and Avatar, reinforce our belief that the company can achieve strong growth in the second half of the fiscal year."

Ubisoft's remaining list of 2009 releases for the Wii includes: Rabbids Go Home, Shaun White Snowboarding World Stage, Academy of Champions and TMNT Smash-Up.

Asi es, Ubisoft anuncio que Red Steel 2 se retrazara hasta antes de Marzo del 2010 segun el CEO de Ubisoft Yves Guillemot
